Obese Patients

Question

1. Please can you tell me the age of the youngest child admitted to hospital with a primary diagnosis of obesity in 2010/11?
2. If possible please can you tell me the sex of this child?
3. Please can you also tell me what specific treatment this child received (e.g. treatment for sleep apnoea, dietary).

Response

The Trust has admitted one patient with a primary diagnosis of obesity during the financial year 2010/11. The patient was a 4 year-old male, who was admitted with an additional primary medical condition for observation and evaluation.
