Our performance

This section of our website will provide information to you concerning our performance. Quality and patient safety are the key priorities for the Trust and are integral to the delivery of our core business. The aim of our Trust is to be rated as excellent for quality of service and to achieve the top quartile (80th) performance for measures relating to quality and safety.

Quality and safety

The Trust has invested considerable resources into ensuring that quality and safety matches the expectations of all our patients and staff. A key factor to this is listening to the views of our patients, service users and staff about the way we deliver care and in response, develop our services and bring improvements that make a real difference to people's lives.

We use the Patient Safety First campaign as a template for embedding a culture of safety in our organisation. Leadership is an integral part of building this culture and key people have been identified to promote the campaign. The campaign is designed to constantly examine the care provided to ensure it has reached the highest standard and there is onwership within all clinical areas.

Our Quality and Improvement Strategy supports this vision and the Trust in ensuring that quality of care is pervasive in all aspects of provided acitivities and aims to ensure no compromises are made in achieving this vision.
