We have set up a patient information phone line in light of the police investigation which is currently ongoing at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle. Should patients have any questions or concerns, they can contact the Trust on 01228 814247 (11.00am – 6.00pm – out of hours, please leave a message with your name and number and we will get back to you).
We are the secondary care provider of acute hospital services in north Cumbria and our services are based at the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle and the West Cumberland Hospital in Whitehaven. We also have a birthing centre at Penrith Community Hospital. The Care Quality Commission rated the Trust as 'requires improvement' overall following its latest inspection. Read more here.

The next Trust Board meeting held in public will be on 24 January 2017, 1pm at the West Cumberland Hospital, Whitehaven. Please note that Trust Board meetings are held in public but are not public meetings.
Members of the public are invited to ask the Trust Board any questions they may have at the end of the meeting, however questions must be related to items on the agenda. If you would like to submit your question in advance, please contact email@example.com
Stephen Eames, chief executive, will be holding an open public forum after each Trust Board meeting. This will last one hour and is expected to be from 4pm - 5pm. Members of the public are invited to ask Mr Eames questions not relating to the Trust Board agenda.
