Keep well this summer

Posted on Tuesday 23rd July 2019

Temperatures are expected to climb through the week, potentially reaching record breaking levels by Thursday - see latest forecast.

The sunny spells are something many people look forward to and go out and enjoy. But it’s worth remembering that the heat and high UV can pose health risks for some people.

It’s important to protect yourself from too much sun or heat, to carry water when travelling and to stay hydrated, and to think of those, such as young children or older people, who may feel the heat more than others.
