Dermatology

General introduction

The Dermatology unit in north Cumbria provides emergency and elective dermatology at both the Cumberland Infirmary and West Cumberland Hospital.

Our consultants are based primarily in Carlisle with cross-site commitments.

Specialist nurses work across both sites delivering the various treatments we provide.

The unit also provides a medical procedures service which consists of a six daybed area delivering invasive and non-invasive treatments and diagnostics accessed by a number of medical consultants.
